Vibrant Wednesdays

Do you feel sometimes there is a force guiding you? People trying to help you out with things you are struggling to do? And god’s angels are smiling at you. Sometimes I do feel that way and I guess today (rather yesterday) turned out to be quite a Wishful Wednesday literally. For starters it was rather relaxed. I mean sure I had work but there was not much of running around. I had two meetings. One of them with a potential product that I am keen on showing you and perhaps giving you away on the blog.

A Buffet That Lets You Be

(My Mini Order Pad)

Bug Buffet. I have always had a bone to pick with buffets. Believe it or not. I have never understood how having too much choice and too much going to and fro and lugging a heavy plate around can be so much fun. I mean the last time I remember being served the buffet on my table was at my wedding and then it happened again today after 3 years (Damn we will complete 3 and a half years in June. Exciting no? I think it is. Although in all its 10 years and I will save that for another story) at The Tasty Tangles, Khar.

A Terrific Tuesday

I guess you can call it that. The morning was bright and early with Advertising Sessions with 11th Grade which went well. The girls ended up creating ant-aging products whereas the boys stuck to technology mostly. So predictable of the two sexes. Immediately after class we rushed home as it was Anita’s Birthday (Whistles). You remember Anita and I went to see Chillar Party some time ago?

When The Mother Insisted On The Maharaja

Picky Parents. You know how parents have their favorite places they like to dine at, well mine have too. While my mother loves Bikaji  (Goregaon) and all places that serve “Thali” – for my father its more Indian and Mughlai cuisine and a place that is close by and fine dining.

3 Easy Peasy Ways To Snap Out Of Stress

And I just thought of those since the one’s that I tried worked for me! And you know that I don’t recommend anything on Girlyhour that I don’t try. I don’t think it’s fair to you right? Here are 5 rather easy (and inexpensive) ways to feel refreshed at home, almost instantly.

Aroma Therapy. You know how friends keep gifting you candles or you perhaps bought them on your last vacation or exhibition. Well, it’s time to bring them out and light them in your room. You can light incense sticks or agarbatti too. I have noticed the aroma the light it begins to soothe you and you don’t know what’s working on your senses but its making you feel better for sure.

When Chores Make You Cheerful You Know Are Blessed With A Team That Is Wonderful!

(Meals On The Go)

What A Women/Wifey Wants. Wow. For me I always have a lot to do and that a lot “to do” also comes with the desire “to do” and sometimes the uncontrollable urge to sign up for too many things with too many people and too many places and then I am in a soup. So am always happy with a helping hand to support me be it to run an errand or get me those print outs or send that email – how I’d love that sometime but then it isn’t possible always to ask for help as everyone is busy in their own world with their own agendas.

The Boy And His Blue Toy

For My Blue Eyed Boy. Now I have to buy/gift (and do both) so often especially for my family and friends. Actually its more “want to” then have to. Imagine if you have to. I mean that would be crazy right? Except ofcourse for birthdays, anniversaries and valentines day and maybe another special day. Yea that sums it. I am constantly looking for new things in the market, flipping through magazines.

Good. Not Old Fashioned. Still Fun.

(Pic Courtesy: Entertainmentwallpaper.com)

So this one had to be a movie weekend (because last one wasn’t) and that’s how my girly brain works – lucky for me there was something to look forward to! You know when I read the title (A Good Old Fashioned Orgy) of this one – I wasn’t thinking anything. Infact I thought its something like a metaphor but well to disappoint a few and delight many the movie is all about a “A Good Old Fashioned Orgy”. It’s about friends getting together and having one big farewell party before the summer home gets sold out. Except, this time they decide to plan an “orgy”.

Little Love Library – Part One

(Pic Courtesy: 22jee.com)

Movies That Move You. Ah the love list. Just the sound of it makes me feel “bliss”. We girls are such big suckers for romance. Aren’t we? So when we got our new TV. Damn! Did I tell you that we got a new t.v.? I didn’t right? OK let me save that excitement for another post. Here’s my list of movies that I was loving viewing on my laptop as of now and now rather excited to see them on my new T.V. Wowie!

Astro Attack

(Pic Courtesy: Wardrobeadvice.com)

Annoying Astrologers Vs. Smart Soothsayers. I am sure at some point we all have been to astrologers wanting to believe or waiting to hear what we want and then perhaps something totally bizarre has happened. I think as a family there was this one time we od’d on them and therefore I have the confidence to write this post. So we saw all sorts of soothsayers. Some gave up on stuff, some gave it away that they didn’t know a thing but there were few others who did manage to get a few things bang on!
